Chef’s Dream: Functional, Creative & Custom

Designed for serious cooking and frequent entertaining, this new space is a true chef's kitchen with an emphasis on both performance and personality. With a slightly expanded footprint and the help of our expert design team, the homeowners’ comprehensive wish list came to life. The new kitchen design features a top-of-the-line 48-inch cooktop and hood, generous island seating, dedicated bar space, and significantly more storage. The finished design balances all these elements without allowing the room to feel crowded, creating a kitchen that is as comfortable hosting a gathering as it is preparing an everyday meal. 

Oxford Toffee and Oxford Sage cabinetry bring warmth and character to the space, while quartz countertops and a matching quartz countersplash create a continuous visual line throughout the kitchen. The homeowners specifically wanted the quartz to extend up and around the space, and careful attention was given to matching the veining, so the installation reads as one uninterrupted surface. The combination of warm cabinetry, an organic green hue, and natural-looking stone gives the kitchen an inviting quality while maintaining the polished feel of a professionally designed space. 

Custom details are woven throughout the kitchen, including a built-in bookshelf beside the refrigerator with stacked glass cabinetry that adds both display space and personality. The 48-inch cooktop cabinetry was also modified on site to accommodate the specific dimensions and requirements of the finished design. These are the kinds of details that may not immediately stand out in a photograph, but they make a meaningful difference in how the kitchen functions. Throughout the room, storage was carefully planned so that even a kitchen designed for entertaining remains organized and efficient. 

One of the most rewarding aspects of the project was watching the design evolve from the homeowners' original concept into something even more tailored to the space. From the custom cabinetry to the continuous quartz surfaces and dedicated storage, every element works together to support the way the kitchen is actually used.
