Mike Mayers, owner of The Designery Columbus, brings a unique blend of professional sports experience and deep local roots to his business. A Grove City native, Mike spent parts of eight seasons as a Major League Baseball pitcher before returning home to pursue a new kind of team effort—helping families transform their houses into dream homes. Drawing from a lifetime in central Ohio and a background in real estate investment, Mike combines a deep understanding of local neighborhoods with hands-on knowledge of what adds value to a home. He grew up helping his father run a property management company, learning the ins and outs of home renovation and small business ownership early on. Now, with The Designery, Mike is passionate about building lasting relationships with homeowners, builders, and real estate professionals across Columbus. For him, this venture is not just about kitchen design, it’s about creating spaces where families make memories. Mike and his wife, Olivia, along with their son, Maverick, are proud to invest in the community they love.
